Bob, It does take time to set it up right and you do need to go in and make tweaks now and them – but the rewards can really be worth it. The trick is to find out how much a click is worth to you. For real estate it can be tricky unless you are really tracking your ROI. We use adwords and find that it really delivers for us.

I just started using adwords about 30 days ago for my site. I am really trying to use highly targeted ads to keep ppc costs in check. I have only got about 20 clicks on my site but my cost per click is only about $1.50 per click where as my competitiors are paying $3 – $5 per click for the same clicks (from the info I can gather) adwords is slow go if you want to set it up properly but in the long run it can be very cost effective for what you are actually getting.
